the first two are unidentified South american pieces. 2.Very expensive terracotta soldiers made in Italy 3.Bussler USA 4.A great piece by IL PLANTAGENETO Italy see their web site.Excellent stuff but expensive
This is a piece that most likely came from the USA at the turn of the century. No idea as to where it was done. The ACW is a war that did not really attract the great soldier makers that much as regards toy soldiers but take a look at this model it has such great charm. On the other page a Union Man takes a snapshot.Note his uniform; so different to the Model soldier one.
This Belgian guy called Shrapnel Charlie lives around the battlefields of wipers and digs up old shrapnel then makes it into WW1 soldiers.Brilliant eh?
This piece is still around a fiver on E.Bay.Its a Britain's lancer and I'm bidding. The problem is is it real, the paintqwork and everything?Thats the prob with E.Bay.The faker's paradise.
